Navigating Disney’s Lost and Found

My wife and I woke up on day 3 of our trip and discovered that no one had charged the camera from the night before.  We quickly realized that no one charged the camera because the camera never made it back to our hotel room.  After calming down, we went over the day before in our head to determine where it could have been lost.  We narrowed it down to leaving on the counter when we picked up our ear hats at Hollywood Studios or leaving it on the Disney bus that took us from Hollywood Studios back to The Contemporary.  After a phone call to The Contemporary front desk, we were told that if the camera was left in either location, it would go to central lost and found at the Ticket and Transportation Center and the phone number is 407-824-4245.

November Trip Report Day 2

Day two of the trip is where the travel difficulties of travelling with larger groups came to light.  The goal was to meet at Hollywood Studios around 9:00.  A majority of the group had Fastpasses for Star Tours starting around 10 am.  The rest of the group had Fastpasses for Disney Junior Live on Stage.  My wife, daughter, and I got to Hollywood Studios at the agreed upon meeting time.  The rest of the group did not.  We waited and waited and waited and waited for the rest of the group to arrive.  They finally arrived at 9:45.  We quickly, instead of leisurely, picked out Mickey Ear hats for the “first-timers” in the party to get monogrammed then headed our separate ways.

Yachtsman Steakhouse – A Review

Yachtsman Review #1

On the second night of my November trip, my wife’s aunts and uncles took our daughter into the parks for the evening and my wife and I were able to enjoy a relaxing dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse.  One of the things that I enjoy about staying at The Contemporary/Bay Lake Tower is easy walking access to the Magic Kingdom Bus Depot.  My wife and I walked over the depot to catch the Yacht Club/Beach Club bus.  We always bank plenty of time to get from point A to point B at Disney but we were lucky enough to catch a bus right away to Yacht Club.
