Like most our trips to Walt Disney World, our trip to Disneyland started in the early hours of Monday morning. Though we live only a short drive away from the Albany Airport, we rarely fly out of there due to the high ticket costs. Fortunately, Albany is near many major airports so we have plenty of choices to shop around for airfare. This time, Newark came up as the fare winner and luckily for us, I have friends who live near the Newark Airport and they were willing to drop us off and pick us up from the airport. A nice savings from having to spent a night in an airport hotel and then spend more money to park the car.

Should Disney’s Magical Express Get Added to Disneyland
That is today’s question of the day: Should Disney add Disney’s Magical Express service to Disneyland? For those that travel to Walt Disney World frequently and use the Magical Express service, like myself, it is a wonderful thing. It takes the worry of getting your luggage, rental car, worrying about traffic, etc. away from your vacation. You can focus on getting on the bus, getting to your resort, and starting your vacation. So, why hasn’t this service expanded to Disneyland in California?

Ways Disneyland is “better” than Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World can be viewed as the younger cousin to Disneyland. Both were visions of Walt Disney. Walt Disney World is the grander vision but Disneyland was his first vision. As a result, there are ways in which Disneyland is “better” than it’s younger, more expansive cousin to the east. Arguing which theme park is better is like arguing who is a better character Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse. That being said, here are some ways that, I think, Disneyland is “better” than Walt Disney World.

Disney Vacation Club 101 – The Basics for Potential Members
Dad is a Disney Vacation Club member. My family joined the vacation club back in August 2010 and have made numerous trips to Walt Disney World staying in the vacation club’s villa style accommodations. Friends of mine always ask me, “How does the vacation club work? What benefits to I get with the vacation club? Is it worth the money?” Today, Dad is going to try to answer some of these questions which I’m sure will only lead to more questions.
