Welcome to the next stop on Magical Blogorail Orange . Today, we are discussing kid-sized reviews. My daughter is only nine years old but she is an experienced Walt Disney World traveler with seven trips under her belt already. In today’s review, she discusses one of her favorite attractions….Toy Story Midway Mania. She has gone from a four-year old who could barely pull the string to shoot at the targets to a nine-year old sharpshooter. She is going to provide a brief history of the attraction and then I interview her about her likes and dislikes about the attraction.

November Trip Report Day 2
Day two of the trip is where the travel difficulties of travelling with larger groups came to light. The goal was to meet at Hollywood Studios around 9:00. A majority of the group had Fastpasses for Star Tours starting around 10 am. The rest of the group had Fastpasses for Disney Junior Live on Stage. My wife, daughter, and I got to Hollywood Studios at the agreed upon meeting time. The rest of the group did not. We waited and waited and waited and waited for the rest of the group to arrive. They finally arrived at 9:45. We quickly, instead of leisurely, picked out Mickey Ear hats for the “first-timers” in the party to get monogrammed then headed our separate ways.
Should Disney Announce Attraction Tests
After the “announcement,” yesterday, that Toy Story Midway Mania was only going to be open to people who either made a Fastpass Plus reservation or were lucky enough to receive a paper Fastpass, I got to thinking about the situation. This surprise announcement caught a lot of people, myself included, off guard. There were a good number of complaints yesterday at Guest Relations about the announcement. Should Disney be obligated to inform its guests about upcoming tests to attractions at the theme parks?
Walt Disney World Must Dos
Today, I’m going to look what I think are the must-do attractions at each of the Disney theme parks. These are going be attractions that the whole family can enjoy. That is the best thing about Walt Disney World, in my opinion, is that there are attractions for the entire family. They did not make every attraction a “thrill” attraction. There are options for both the thrill seeker and non-thrill seeker. So, let’s head out into the parks.
Attraction Guide – Toy Story Midway Mania
I’m sticking with the guides, today, and going to one of the most popular attractions at Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Midway Mania. This 4-D game takes guests through the characters of Toy Story while shooting spring-style shooters at 3-D animated targets. At the end of the ride, the scores are added up and a guest wins a virtual stuffed animal prize. Toy Story Midway Mania is the only attraction currently in Pixar Place.
This is one of the most popular attractions at Hollywood Studios so the best way to avoid a long wait is to either get a Fastpass+ or ride the attraction early or late in the day.
