The summer means two things for visitors coming to Walt Disney World: 1) big crowds because school is out for the summer and 2) heat and humidity that suck the soul out of most people especially the little ones. How can you prepare for those crowds and that heat? Dad For Disney is going to give you some tips on how to survive the summer.
During my family’s trip to Disney last December, we headed over to Hollywood and Vine for Minnie’s Holiday Dine. This event was added in 2015 for what was just the holiday season but rapidly expanded to a year-round event and made a return for the 2016 holiday season. This made it an easy addition to our dining lineup for this trip.
Last month when my family was in Orlando, we decided to make a side trip to have a breakfast with some Minions and other characters at Universal’s Royal Pacific Resort. My daughter and I are both huge fans of the Minions. We wanted to find a way to meet them without spending the money on a one-day ticket to Universal.
I returned from Walt Disney World on Sunday and one of the highlights of the trip was my evening at Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Studios is undergoing a massive transformation with addition of Star Wars Land and the expansion Pixar Place. Even with this transformation, there are still enough attractions and events to keep people in the parks all day.
On Saturday, I’ll be in the World for my family’s annual week-long trip. It’s a great chance to relax, refresh, and recharge as well as seeing what new things have been added to the parks and resorts. Continue reading Upcoming December Trip
