The summer means two things for visitors coming to Walt Disney World: 1) big crowds because school is out for the summer and 2) heat and humidity that suck the soul out of most people especially the little ones. How can you prepare for those crowds and that heat? Dad For Disney is going to give you some tips on how to survive the summer.
On my family’s most recent trip to Walt Disney World, my wife, her sister and niece dined at The Bon Voyage Breakfast hosted by Trattoria al Forno on Disney’s Boardwalk. I was off with my daughter climbing the four mountains of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom (that’s another blog post for another day). My wife knew this was a new and unique experience for our family and took great pictures of her experience for use on the blog.
This month on the Peach Loop of The Blogorail, we are talking some of the best counter service location at Walt Disney World. My favorite is the Contempo Cafe located at The Contemporary Resort just steps away from The Magic Kingdom. Read more to find out why.
Yesterday at D23, the Parks Panel presentation took place and A LOT of new information was dropped. So much information that I have to break in down park by park and then what is going on outside the theme parks on the resort side. Let’s dive in head first.
A couple of years ago, my wife’s aunts and uncles took our daughter into the parks for the evening and my wife and I were able to enjoy a relaxing dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. One of the things that I enjoy about staying at The Contemporary/Bay Lake Tower is easy walking access to the Magic Kingdom Bus Depot. My wife and I walked over the depot to catch the Yacht Club/Beach Club bus. We always bank plenty of time to get from point A to point B at Disney but we were lucky enough to catch a bus right away to Yacht Club.
