2016 Food and Wine Special Events and Concert Calendar

Walt Disney World has released the special dining events as well as the Eat To The Beat Concert calendar for the 2016 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival.  What new events have been added?  Will there be any new acts to the concert lineup?

There will be five new events to the Food and Wine Special Event lineup:

  • Grand Floridian Brunch with a Twist – event to be held on October 6 from noon to 2 pm.  Cost is $169 per person plus tax (tip and valet parking at The Grand Floridian included)
  • Culinary Adventures with a Master Chef – event will be held at the Contemporary Convention Center on October 7 and 21 as well as November 3 & 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  Cost is $259 per person plus tax (tip included)
  • Behind the Scenes at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto – event will be held at Trader Sam’s on September 21, 28 and October 5 and 12.  Cost from this noon to 2 pm event is $99 per person plus tax (tip included).
  • The Secret of Flavor – Yachtsman Steakhouse will host this new event from noon to 2 pm on September 22, October 20, and November 2.  This event costs $129 per person plus tax (tip included)
  • Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! Hands on Workshops – Daily workshops at the Festival Center in the World Showcase.  This 4 pm event allows guests to get hands-on experience from the chefs themselves.  Topic and food items will change daily.  This event costs $49 per person plus tax

Booking for these events as well as all of the events which are returning like the Rockin’ Burger Bash can be made starting on July 21st by calling 407-WDW-FEST starting a 7 am eastern.  Chase cardholders can make reservations starting on July 19th also by calling 407-WDW-FEST.

Eight New Acts On the Eat to the Beat Concert Lineup

Making their debut in the Eat to the Beat Concert series, Wang Chung opens the Eat to the Beat Concert series with two nights of shows on September 14 and 15.  Also making their debut will be a variety of acts such as Living Colour, Plain White T’s, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The BoDeans, Soul Asylum, Delta Rae, and Jeffery Osbourne.

Concerts take place at 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 pm daily.  Full schedule below:

  • Oct. 5-6 – Blues Traveler “Run-Around”
  • Oct. 7-9 – Plain White T’s NEW! “Hey There Delilah”
  • Oct. 10-11 – 38 Special “Hold On Loosely”
  • Oct. 12-13 – Jeffrey Osborne NEW! “On the Wings of Love”
  • Oct. 14-16 – Tiffany “I Think We’re Alone Now”
