The first Wordless Wednesday of every month is dedicated to that month’s calendar shot. This month, I decided to bring in one of my favorite Disney characters to the calendar shot….Dumbo. The end of May is the unofficial start of summer and the summer usually means the circus and/or carnival comes to town and Dumbo is the Disney characters which brings this to life best.
Lots of words can be heard including today’s Mouse News Minute during the Behind the Magic podcast.

It’s actually the back of the Dumbo float from the Festival of Fantasy parade.
Aww, lovely little shot there of Dumbo with a lovely blue sky too (definitely not always a given considering the time of day it takes place). Festival of Fantasy is such an improvement over the previous parade -imo ofc.

It was a beautiful late November day. Temperature was in the upper 80s/low 90s. The following day, there was a tornado warning in the morning and WDW received about six/seven inches of rain from three big thunderstorms/rain bands that rolled through.
