Dad For Disney called Disney Reservations, this morning, about the rumored Villains Unleashed party at Hollywood Studios.  I was told that tickets are on sale for Annual Pass Holders and Disney Vacation Club members ONLY.  General public can start buying tickets starting June 9.

The event is taking place on the evening of August 23rd.  That is the only announced detail.  Last year’s Friday the 13th event ran from 8 pm to 1 am so it could assumed that this year’s will run in the same late evening time window.

Tickets with the Annual Pass/Disney Vacation Club discount cost $71.37 for adults and $66.03 for children ages 3-9.

The cast member did say that Memorymaker photographers will be out in the park to take pictures of villains with guests.  She did not say which Villains would be in attendance.  So be sure, that if you attend this event, you have ordered Memorymaker through the Disney website.

Friends of Dad For Disney have heard that over 50 villains will be appearing on the night of August 23rd.  There will be a special fireworks show (Villainy in the Sky) and as many as 10 attractions (not yet named) that will open late.

There will be a special villains pre-show before Fantasmic! on the 23rd.  Limited time merchandise, food and beverages will be available throughout the night.  A themed variety show will take place at The Theater of the Stars.  There will also be a special Star Wars Villains section, presumably, by Star Tours and the Jedi Training Academy.
